About Me
 I am a
Sacramento freelance website designer with clients all over
California and the United States. I have been designing websites
since 1998 and am passionate about creating just the right look for each website I create.
In the 1990s hand coding in HTML was the only way to design
websites, so that's how I started eventually advancing to Dreamweaver, FrontPage and Flash. I studied web design and graphics at Macromedia University and have also taken many on-line classes in topics such as Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Photo Impact, Front Page, HTML, CSS, Java script, color coordination and website layout. I am a graduate of Hickock Technical Institute
in
Cleveland, Ohio with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design and Drafting.
My former career was in Mechanical Drafting and Design.
From 1991 to
2003 I was the owner and Director of Precision Technical Institute
in Sacramento, CA, where we taught AutoCAD drafting and design.
I sold the school in November, 2003 to pursue web design as a
full time career. As the owner of a private vocational
school, I found it necessary to learn to be very proficient in
MS Office, particularly Word and Excel. I also have become
proficient in the creation of vector graphics for logos and
print artwork using Adobe Illustrator.
The Internet is continuously changing and I am always taking new
classes, buying the latest software and reading up on the
latest Search Engine Optimization techniques. Every day I
learn something new so I can offer you the best possible
service. The good news is that I love to learn new things.
It keeps my job interesting!
