About Me

I am a Freelance Web Designer located in Sacramento, CA. I have been designing websites for the past seven years.   I am passionate about creating just the right look for each website I create. I started hand coding websites in HTML in 1996 and advanced to Dreamweaver, FrontPage and Flash.  I studied web design and graphics at Macromedia University and have also taken many on-line classes in topics such as Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, Photo Impact, Front Page, HTML, CSS, Java script, color coordination and website layout.  I am also a graduate of Hickock Technical Institute in Cleveland, Ohio with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Design and Drafting.

My former career was in Mechanical Drafting and Design, and from 1991 to 2003 I was the owner of Precision Technical Institute in Sacramento, CA, where we taught AutoCAD drafting and design. I sold the school in November, 2003 to pursue web design as a full time career.  As the owner of a private vocational school, I found it necessary to learn to be very proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.  I also have the capability to create Adobe PDF files and AutoCAD DWF files.
